Privacy Statement

The transparency of personal data processing is very important to us, and therefore we would like to provide you with information on how the personal data provided in this questionnaire (“Personal Data“), is processed as well as provide insight into how you can manage your Personal Data and exercise your rights.

We process your Personal Data in accordance with the applicable Personal Data Protection norms and our internal policies (“Personal Data Protection Legislation“).

Purpose and legal basis for data processing

JUDr. Daniela Murad processes your Personal Data based on the contract signed with you directly or your employer in order to help you procure your work permit or visa or residence permit (as applicable) based on the following legal bases:

  • Contract performance (in case we have signed a contract directly with you as an individual)
  • Legitimate interest consisting in our ability to perform a contract signed between us and your employer.

Whenever you provide us with Personal Data of another person (e.g., family member), please make sure that the concerned data subject is informed about the fact that his/her Personal Data will be provided to JUDr. Daniela Murad, and also about the fact that JUDr. Daniela Murad will become the data subjects’ data controller. 

 

Security and sharing of your Personal Data

We have implemented generally accepted standards of technology and operational security in order to protect your Personal Data from loss, misuse, alteration or destruction. Only authorized persons are provided access to your Personal Data. These individuals have agreed to maintain the confidentiality of this information.

We will only share your Personal Data with others when we are legally permitted to do so. Your Personal Data will not be disclosed to third parties except the following recipient:

  1. governmental or regulatory authorities, courts and law enforcement authorities or agencies as required by and/or in accordance with applicable law or regulation.

 

Personal Data retention

Your Personal Data will be retained until the end of your cooperation with JUDr. Daniela Murad. After that, it may only be stored for the period indicated by statutory provisions of law (maximum of 10 years considering the conditions for granting the Czech citizenship under the Act No. 186/2013 Sb., on the citizenship of the Czech Republic, as amended) or as long as you or us may pursue legal claims towards each other.

 

Your rights concerning your Personal Data

According to the Personal Data Protection Legislation you may have certain rights in relation to the Personal Data we hold about you.

 In particular, you may have a legal right to:

  • request a copy of the Personal Data we hold about you
  • ask that we update the Personal Data we hold about you, or correct such Personal Data that you think is incorrect or incomplete
  • ask that we delete Personal Data that we hold about you, or restrict the way in which we use such Personal Data
  • restrict or object to our processing of your Personal Data 
  • request a copy or transfer of your Personal Data (data portability), and/or
  • withdraw your consent to our processing of your Personal Data (to the extent such processing is based on consent and consent is the only permissible basis for processing).

If you believe your Personal Data is being processed without authorisation, you can file a complaint with the Supervisory Authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz/en/) for the Czech Republic.
